On Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, we hosted our second BBQ, Beats & Beams Demo Night at I DJ NOW Babylon — and it couldn’t have gone better. The store was packed, the energy was high, and the community came ready for a full day of music, gear, food, and fun.
Hands-On Gear Demos
One of the best parts of the night was seeing people actually get their hands on the gear. Our partners really brought their A-game:
- RCF filled the room with powerful sound.
- Moog gave us that signature synth magic.
- Rane showed why their DJ gear is trusted by so many performers.
- ColorKey transformed the space with lighting effects.
- Akai let DJs and producers explore new creative tools.
It wasn’t just about watching demos — guests were able to try things out, ask questions, and connect directly with the reps.
Giveaways That Made the Night
We love giving back to our community, and this year we went big. Over $5,000 worth of gear awent home with lucky winners. From smaller upgrades to major prizes, the giveaways kept the excitement going all night long.
Food, Music & Vibes
Of course, it wouldn’t be BBQ, Beats & Beams without the BBQ. The grill was going all day, and the food kept everyone fueled while they checked out the demos and giveaways. Add in the beats and lighting filling the store, and the vibe was exactly what we hoped for — fun, welcoming, and high-energy.
A True Community Event
What stood out the most wasn’t just the gear or the giveaways — it was the people. DJs, creators, event pros, and music lovers came together under one roof, and the sense of community was undeniable. Seeing everyone connect, share, and enjoy the day is what these events are all about.
