Personal Information Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide products and services, maintain accounts and transaction history, comply with tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and protect legal rights. Retention periods vary by category and are determined by the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, legal or contractual requirements, risk, and whether the information is needed for an ongoing customer or business relationship.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that help us operate our business, provide the Site, fulfill orders, process payments and financing, detect fraud, deliver products, calculate tax, provide customer service, send communications, host or secure systems, provide analytics, manage reviews and improve our services.

Depending on the technology used and applicable law, disclosures to certain advertising, analytics or social-media partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. The categories that may be involved include identifiers, commercial information, internet or electronic-network activity, approximate location information and preferences or inferences. Where required, you may opt out through our privacy and cookie controls or through a recognized opt-out preference signal.

We do not sell or share sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS or RCS messaging program with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that messaging program. We may share your personal information, including your SMS or RCS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including platform providers, telecommunications carriers and other vendors that assist us in delivering text messages.

We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, prevent fraud, enforce our policies, complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or other business transaction, or protect the security of IDJNOW, our customers or others.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information we maintain about you. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, and the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction.

Cookie and advertising choices: You can review or change available non-essential cookie categories at any time through Your Privacy Choices . Where required by law, recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control are treated as an opt-out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have some or all of the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions: to confirm whether we process personal data; access personal data; correct inaccuracies; delete personal data; obtain a portable copy; obtain information about certain third-party disclosures where required; opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data or certain profiling; and appeal a decision we make on a privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.

To exercise an applicable state privacy right, use one of the request methods in the “How to Submit a Privacy Request” section below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

California Privacy Rights

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), I DJ NOW, operated by Robert Marsh Enterprises, Inc., is the business responsible for the personal information practices described here.

California 12-Month Disclosure

During the preceding 12 months, we collected the categories of personal information described in the Notice at Collection above, including identifiers and customer-record information, commercial information, internet or electronic-network activity, sensitive personal information used for permitted operational purposes, and communications or other information you provided. Sources, purposes and retention criteria are described in the Notice at Collection.

Categories Sold or Shared in the Preceding 12 Months

We do not sell personal information for money. For purposes of the CCPA, however, certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” even when no money changes hands. During the preceding 12 months, categories disclosed in ways that may constitute sale or sharing include identifiers and customer-record information, commercial information, and internet or electronic-network activity. Categories of recipients may include advertising, analytics, social-media and marketing partners.

Categories Disclosed for a Business Purpose in the Preceding 12 Months

Categories disclosed to service providers or contractors for business purposes may include identifiers and customer-record information, commercial information, internet or electronic-network activity, sensitive personal information used for permitted operational purposes, and communications or other information you provide.

Recipients may include hosting and security providers, payment and financing providers, fraud-prevention services, order-fulfillment and shipping providers, tax and compliance providers, analytics providers, email and SMS providers, customer-support and messaging providers, review platforms, marketing-service providers and other vendors that perform services on our behalf.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not sell or share sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we use sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes such as authentication, account security, payment or financing, fraud prevention and providing products or services you request.

Based on these practices, we do not currently use or disclose sensitive personal information in a manner that requires a separate California right-to-limit control. If our practices change, we will update our notices and controls.

Your California Rights

  • Right to know/access: request the categories and/or specific pieces of personal information we collected about you and related information about sources, purposes and disclosures.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: direct us not to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information: where the CCPA provides that right based on how a business uses or discloses sensitive personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination: receive equal service and pricing, subject to lawful exceptions, for exercising CCPA rights.
  • Authorized agent: use an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf, subject to applicable verification and authorization requirements.

Sale, Sharing and Advertising Opt-Out

California residents can exercise applicable sale/sharing and advertising choices through our Your Privacy Choices controls. You do not need to create an IDJNOW account to use these controls.

Global Privacy Control and Other Opt-Out Preference Signals

Where required by law, we recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, and treat them as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for the browser or device sending the signal. You do not need to submit a separate request for the same browser or device when a qualifying signal is recognized.

Where our preference tool supports it, the current opt-out status is displayed in the privacy controls. If you are logged in and applicable law requires us to associate the request with your account, we will do so where reasonably possible.

EEA and UK Privacy Rights

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or UK data-protection law applies to our processing of your personal data, I DJ NOW, operated by Robert Marsh Enterprises, Inc., acts as the controller for the processing described in this Privacy Policy, except where a third party acts as an independent controller under its own notice.

Legal Bases for Processing

  • Contract: to process orders, payments, shipping, returns, account services and support you request.
  • Legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, regulatory and other legal requirements.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve our Site and services, prevent fraud, provide customer service, measure performance and operate our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent: where required for non-essential cookies, certain marketing, personalization or advertising activities, or other processing for which we ask for consent.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have a right to object based on your particular circumstances, and you have a right to object to direct marketing.

When we request personal data that is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you, such as information needed to process an order, take payment, deliver products or provide requested support, you generally must provide that information for us to complete the transaction or service. Information requested only for marketing, personalization or non-essential cookies is optional unless we tell you otherwise at the point of collection.

EEA and UK Rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have rights to access, rectify or erase personal data; restrict processing; object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.

International Data Transfers

IDJNOW is based in the United States, and personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, we use an available lawful mechanism or safeguards appropriate to the transfer, which may include adequacy decisions or contractual protections. You may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to a particular transfer.
