Shure

Originally founded as a radio parts manufacturer, Sidney Shure started “The Shure Radio Company” in the roaring 1920s. After the Great Depression forced Shure to lay off a considerable amount of staff, the company began developing microphones. By World War II, Shure was a recognized brand, and the U.S. government had contracted the company to build microphones for soldiers. Subsequent decades saw Shure designing iconic products like the V-15, SM57, and SM7B. Today, Shure live sound is still focused on the classics, along with a wide variety of new microphones, cartridges, and earphones.
