Special Effects Lasers - Learning the Basics

Incorporate lasers into your lighting rig to stand out from the crowd!

When science meets entertainment, you get special effects lasers! By incorporating lasers into your exisiting lighting rig, you'll be able to add a unique touch to almost any major event. Today's lasers are more affordable and user-friendly than ever before. Not only that, but some lasers are customizable, allowing you to display a wide variety of images and text on various surfaces. Jonathan Schwille of Healy Sales came by our Babylon, NY showroom to talk to us about two great offerings from X-Laser, the Caliente Aurora and the Lasercube WiFi. Both lasers are great options for those looking to dip a toe in the laser pool!

X-Laser Caliente Aurora

If you're just getting into lasers, look no further than the Caliente Aurora. A simple, budget friendly option, the Caliente Aurora offers impressive automatic modes, as well as deep DMX controls, so users of all experience levels can put on a killer laser light show! Take advantage of over 100 built-in laser patterns or create a custom show to best suit your environment using 9 channels of DMX. The Caliente Aurora only scans flat on the X-axis, so all patterns skim right over the heads of your audience, and you can use the DMX input and output to link multiple Caliente Aurora units together to produce even larger aerial effects!
