Compatible with most DJs software, the DDJ-SB2 comes with Serato DJ Intro, and is upgrade-ready to Serato DJ full version. If you prefer other software, The DDJ-SB2 is compatible with Pioneer’s own Rekordbox DJ, Virtual DJ and even mappable in Traktor Pro 2.
Its sleek design, rugged, lightweight plastic structure allows for easy portability, perfect for performance in both large clubs and small venues. All the features of the predecessor are here — the large jogwheels, three band EQ and dedicated filter knobs are present. The added features of switchable bank of four pads can control your Hot Cues, Auto/Manual loop or the Serato sampler, are all welcomed additions. So now you have switchable controls for decks three and four.
The DDJ-SB2 allows you to manually adjust the gain levels of both channels with Trim Pots for more accurate adjustments. The Pad Trans effect buttonholes to turn the top row of four pads into transformer-style triggers also. If you’re using CDJs for bigger events, the DDJ-SB2 is a great second controller for DJs testing the deeper waters.
