Bringing The Bass with the EVOLVE 70 & 90

Performers, DJs, and audio pros have been asking for one thing: a more powerful column speaker system. Finally, Electro-Voice has answered the call with two bold new entries in their renowned EVOLVE lineup, the EVOLVE 70 and EVOLVE 90.

Bigger Speakers, Bigger Sound

The EVOLVE 70 and 90 systems are significant upgrades from the EVOLVE 50, both in size and output.

• EVOLVE 70 features a 15" subwoofer with a 3" voice coil, reaching down to 35 Hz.
• EVOLVE 90 steps it up with an 18" subwoofer and a 4" voice coil, offering extended bass response down to 28 Hz.

Both systems are topped with eight 4" neodymium drivers, outputting up to 133dB SPL on the EVOLVE 70 and 134 dB on the EVOLVE 90. Both are a massive step up from the 127 dB SPL of the standard EVOLVE 50

Despite the increase in power and size, these new systems maintain the EVOLVE line’s reputation for portability and ease of use.

• The column top is identical for both the EVOLVE 70 and 90, meaning it's interchangeable between systems.
• Setup is straightforward: connect the column to the pole, then the pole to the sub, and you're ready to go.
• The total system weight is manageable, 78 lbs for the 70 and 98 lbs for the 90.

While DJs will love the increased low-end and room-filling coverage, the EVOLVE 70 and 90 are perfect for a range of applications:

EV has made transporting these beasts easy with custom dolly systems built specifically for each model. Heavy-duty wheels, secure butterfly clamps, and stable mounting make moving the system a one-person job. There’s also a padded carry bag for the column and pole for transport.
