The Par ZP100 3K is a modern LED twist to the traditional halogen Par Can. It is powered by a potent 100W warm white C.O.B. (Chip On Board) LED with a color temperature of 3000K. Its output is comparable to a 1000W halogen sealed beam Par. It is equipped with 5 different beam angle options that may be changed by hand. powerCON In/Out allows for the fixture to be daisy chained, while 5-pin DMX control offers a variable strobe rate and 5 different dimming curve options. Its external housing is a traditional Par Can silver polished aluminum.

The Par Z100 3K allows lighting and stage designers the look of the traditional stage par with the technological conveniences of modern day lighting. The advantages include low power draw, fixture and performers won't get hot on stage, DMX control of dimming and strobe. There are no dimmer controllers need. In some situations lighting fixtures are required to blend into the background; to draw attention to whatever they are illuminating, not to themselves. Building on the success of the existing PAR Z100 3K (3000K color temperature) and PAR Z100 5K (5000K color temperature) black-cased models, the new PAR ZP100 3K fixture looks exactly the same as a regular polished Par can, but inside its casing is housed a powerful 100W C.O.B. (Chip On Board) LED. This has a color temperature of 3000K, which offers a good approximation to the output of a traditional halogen lamp. Its output is comparable to a 1000W sealed beam Par, but it produces a fraction of the heat. This makes it ideal for illuminating stages while ensuring that performers won't get too hot.

The unit features an adjustable beam angle of 9, 15, 20, 25 or 30-degrees, which can be easily changed using a manual latch system. This makes the PAR ZP100 3K extremely versatile, suitable for both spotlighting and stage-washing duties. It is also supplied with a gel frame that can be used to mount color and diffusion filters (sold separately), which adds to the flexibility of this unique fixture.

In addition to 0-100% flicker-free dimming, with a choice of five different dimming curves, the PAR ZP100 3K also offers variable speed strobing up to a maximum frequency of 25Hz. The fixture can be operated using two DMX control channels (one for dimming and one for strobing) and is fitted with professional 5-pin XLR input and output sockets.

With a life expectancy rated at 50,000 hours, the COB LED light-source that powers the PAR ZP100 3K fixture should never need to replaced, no matter how much use it gets. Just like a regular Par can, the PAR ZP100 3K features an adjustable hanging bracket that can be securely locked into place using two plastic thumb-tightening screws. The fixture also offers locking powerCON power input and output connection sockets. And, thanks to their low power draw, up to 15 units can be daisy-chained together at 120V (up to 25 at 230V) from a single mains socket.

The PAR ZP100 3K fixture is the same size and shape as a regular Par can, measuring 19.5" x 10.75" x 10.75" / 491 x 272 x 273mm (LxWxH).
