The transmitter uses an antenna integrated within the housing. The microphone capsule in the transmitter has a cardioid pickup pattern. It provides low handling noise sensitivity, high gain before feedback and brilliant sound quality, as well as a built-in wind and pop filter to reduce wind and breath noise.
