Meet the Ortofon OM Elektro cartridge, the newest member of the Ortofon DJ cartridge family. The basic concept behind the Elektro is a combination of their Night Club and Scratch cartridges. The Night Club is Ortofon's best sounding cartridge and the Scratch has the best tracking ability for scratching. The Elektro combines the best features from both, with major improvements in the output (the Elektro is at 7.5mV- the highest of the Ortofon line) and construction. It also boasts the most duarabilty of any of the existing Ortofon cartridges, with its new rubber suspension designed to minimize the effects of rough handling. With all of the above features, and a history of amazing Ortofon quality the Elektro cartridge will be a staple in the DJ market for years to come.
